In fact, the new content is better experienced if you already have had played the original, as the commentary is geared more towards players who played it back when it first released.
You missed the entire point of The Stanley Parable. The narrator even tells you that there are more uncovered secrets yet to be discovered if you just make a beeline to the Happiness Ending.
You can see most of the content in a few hours if you're observant enough. It doesn't take long for the internet to post that stuff anyway, because there are people who scour every nook and cranny of these games looking for Easter eggs and secrets.
Boundary Break did a pretty thorough review of Ultra Deluxe: https://youtu.be/lvFUWgPlmiU
If you owned the original game at release, they offered a pretty nice discount for those that wished to buy Ultra Deluxe. That price is probably no longer offered at this time, however.
Pay full price for it if you haven't played the original, wait for a discount (which are common on Steam, right? lol) if you have.
I'd say that yes, unless you're very low on funds, the new material is well worth it.
Your comment tells me you skip most of what i said, try re-reading it.
Here you go,
Really it depends on you, The best thing i can say is try it out for an hour and judge for your self this way you can refund it if you not happy with it, Otherwise you can watch you Tube videos which sum it up pretty well.
P.S: My Points still stand.
Youtube can show you what the bucket looks like, but you'll never really know what it's like to experience the bucket unless you pick the bucket up, cradle it in your arms, and go forth.
lol, THIS right here. The whole bucket layer is worth it all on its own.
