Great specs, but Jittery and Laggy
I have a PC that is much more than capable of running this game. Every room I enter and every dialogue option, it is jittery and laggy as well as sometimes the dialogue repeats like a broken record. I have tried restarting the game and uninstalling and reinstalling but the issue persists. Can anyone help me fix this please. Thank you.

Maybe don't play on a potato. This game is literately 9 years old, and the Unity version, if anything, uses less processing power than the original Source Engine.

The game only plays poorly in two locations, both "outside" which I would chalk up to to the draw distance. If it's running poorly, it's likely because you are playing with vsync off or have a high-framerate monitor. Unity scales poorly at higher refresh rates, so cap it to 60 if you really do have a good GPU.

Well the thing is. I dont play on a potato lol. I have an NVIDIA RTX 3090 and 16 cores. It was probably the refresh rate to be honest. Its alright, I refunded the game as I didnt see myself playing it anyway. Thanks for your "help" tho.

Even a so-called potato or pc that is over 15 years old can run this game well with at least 60 fps on at least low settings, I played the original on a pretty low tech pc and it ran fine without problems too. A amd cpu dual core 2.0GHZ with 1GB amd HD6570 video card

16 cores?
16 cores of what?

I'm getting the feeling you might have skipped out on your cpu.

Bruh, how the ♥♥♥♥ can you not run this game? I'm running it at 60 fps on a laptop with much worse specs.

I have made a massive realization and I apologize in advance. I had been downloading like BorderLands 3 in the background while I was playing. I have already refunded the game as I probably would have gotten bored of it within 30 minutes of playtime. Thank you all for your beautiful criticism and I thank you in advance for the criticism to come after this comment. :D
