You can't. Stanley won't destroy his precious bucket. There's only one ending there.

You've probably realized by now there are no actual choices in this game.

ah yes, you cannot drop the button, so the game has no choices whatsoever. are you feeling ok?

That is the point of the scene.

the point of the scene is not "the stanley parable has no choices whatsoever" because the game literally just does have choices, try harder troll

Monad has to be trolling right? Literally right at the beginijg of the game you have 3 choices. Stand still, progress and jump out the window. Then ofc all the doors

The scene subverts such an illusion. Or, inspires a discussion post about how to properly make a choice when surely there must have been one to be made. A convenient belief it may be, but without going back in time and replaying the game in the same context, I'm not sure how one could prove they had a choice at any point.

That there are multiple conceptual futures does not facilitate that there are multiple real futures. We may agree that this was demonstrated by the OP.

Next time, instead of walking through the door you will walk through, walk through the other one.

Wouldn't doing this just create a paradox where you are infinitely choosing the opposite door of which one you chose to go through?
