[BUG!] The Figleys out of Sequence

After acquiring the figleys for the first time, the Narrator forces us to relive the 'Memory Lane' of acquiring them. Taking the personal route of acquisition -- Planning Floor, Warehouse, Under stairs, Exec. Bathroom, Boss Room, then Red/Blue room and then proceeding to work it backwards, up to collecting 17/6, then falling through the floor going between the 2nd and towards the 1st. This causes the game to be utterly unplayable, and if you soft-reset the game to 'play again', it resets to the beginning of this loop.

Being forced back through this loop will make it to where the Narrator goes through the loop after completing the sequence, by beginning the sequence all over again, thinking that the 1st one is actually the 6th one in the 'going backwards' sequence. You cannot return to the beginning of this sequence, because the game does not give you dialogue to initiate the door opening to proceed into the next area, or the video that shows up where you collected the 5th Figley and thus, the game cannot be completed to move on to the Epilogue.

I'm pretty sure this is a one-off sort of thing, but I implore you, please tell me I'm not the only one that's 'suffered' through this. Showing this off to one of my friends and having a riot about it because of how hilarious it is to find a game-breaking bug like this is outstanding in its own right. I know I can just reset the game and start from scratch, and the funny thing to that is, I've already reset it JUST to get to this point, and this bug/glitch/whatevertheheckyouwannacallthis.

Anyone else dealt with this? And if so, what was your sequence? I might also post a link to an unlisted YT video showing the sequence, just to have more evidence behind this.

It's in the FAQ but restarting the computer helps. And if not, the FAQ has a save file.
I was also in the figley-loop-hell, yes.

So, apparently I'd just restarted it after it had its 'Here's the first time-' bit, when at the 6th, I just let the narrator do his thing, reset the game (Alt+F4), brought the game back up, and it dropped me back in from the start. Everything worked as intended, minus the 'Whoops you fell through the world before getting back to the first one for the last time again' glitch. Either way, got out of it, and got the epilogue.
