The Super Go Outside Accountability Thread

All right, folks. This isn't just the most important post on this forum. It's not just the most important post on Steam. This is quite possibly the most important post in all of gaming history.

Because this thread is where we will keep track of anyone who gets the Super Go Outside achievement. BUT, this is only for people who get the achievement the right way. No changing the date on your computer. You must come back here in 10 years time and proudly proclaim that you got this achievement.

Believe it or not, I got the original Go Outside achievement the old fashioned way (mostly because I played the original so much that I didn't feel like playing it again for years and then forgot about it). And I intend on doing the same with this. I'll get all the other achievements, then I'll rest on my laurels and play other games for a decade before dutifully returning to the game, reunite with my old friend The Bucket, and know that I earned this achievement the right way, and not like a rotten, no good, date-changing cheater.

i am honestly not sure if the world as we know it still exists in 10 years.
there could be all sorts of scenarios in which getting this achievement legitimately might be impossible.

There might be another GAME before that time rolls around look at what happen here after all... Or did that thought even cross your mind? Too much thinking inside the box going on here Stanley. You normally aren't like this, think about the story. I suggest we watch a video on the subject matter of the uncertainty nature of time and mans place in it.

I also got the original the old fashioned way. I think I didn't play it for 7 years, I only remembered because Ultra Deluxe was coming out. See you all in 10 years if we are all still alive. Maybe then I'll also play it for the entire duration of a Tuesday.

Why do people care? I someone has the achievement before 2032 then it wasnt got via waiting. After that it frankly doesnt matter all that much

I honestly don't care either way. If people REALLY want the achievement, it's not that big a deal. I just thought this would be fun to have a thread for this. I'll be lucky if I even remember this in 10 years time, or if I'll still be alive.

05/07/23: One year (and a bit) down! Resisted the temptation to peek at any additional tid-bits added in updates since... at-least there's always three other Stanley Parables to play!

18/08/24: Two years (and more of a bit) down. I graduated from university earlier this year! But we have all yet to graduate from the school of Stanley Parable Achievement Waiting.

For clarification, is the achievement for not playing The Stanley Parable or for not playing this new version The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe? The wording in the description does say The Stanley Parable and the release of this game is the reminder I used to actually re-install and get it. But I will be pretty bummed if that just restarted my timer for this new one.
