locked out of dating? - mods

I was messing around with a mod program and ended up toggling on basically max friendship levels with all characters, and i didn't know that you can only confess to a marriage candidate once per friendship level. If they dont accept you have to try again at the next level up. But i can't level any higher, and ive already saved over having unsuccessfully confessing to a few of them. does anyone have any ideas? or maybe a mod to counter this one? ':)

What yo momma tell you about playing with mods? Especially super cheaty mods like that.

The problem you have could possibly still be in the base game—what if a player got someone to 10 hearths but just never bothered to do the dating thing yet? Seems like a massive oversight to me.

I think you just need to make sure no events and romance stories are going on with other characters and try again.

lol i promise i learned! i havent tried this before and of course i did it in a game i have thirty hours in already.. i'll keep trying but i think i may have to start over if i messed up too bad :')

Uhhh remove the mod start giving them their most hated gifts your aim now is to decrease the FP back to 1 level (save confess reload on fail)

Thing is base RF5 actually has non RNG rolling confession as long as you met the base minimum requirements (10 FP, have seen all 3 characters events and is not dating anyone) you should roll a 100 on the confession but the rainbow patch added the RF4 RNG back in so save scumming is in order

Nexus has a Harem mod that may fix them not accepting. Says on the mod page"As long as the conditions are met, the confession and proposal will definitely succeed". Could try that, just make sure not doing a side mission that would get in the way.

Actually the patch only included same sex and fixed a bug involving dating someone while in the middle of an event. It didn't introduce the RNG to the confessions at rank 10 unless you were trying the harem route which was always the case even before.

INTERESTING... I guess I was just rushing the game by confessing to Beatrice at FP8 and Priscilla at FP7 without much issues

also that wouldnt make sense.... how odd are your odds if trying to be a giant pimp as by the time you finish all 6 of either bachelorette or bachelors your odds are basically 0
