This or Rune Factory 4?

Just as the title says, with both of these on sale which would you recommend? I enjoy mindless grinding in games so that isn't an issue for me.

I think most fans would say 4 is the better game, but 5 still has it's positives. Like some new gameplay mechanics and quality of life improvements.

Played 4, but waaaay back when it initially came out so it's been quite a while.

I'll take the advice and go with 4. Think I'll enjoy it quite a bit on the Steam Deck.

I played RF5 first.

Then went to RF4

Eventually I'll go back to RF5 but I'm not bored of RF4 yet even after 100+ hours. Using it on the deck is very smooth.

RF5 is a MASSIVE downgrade compared to RF4. Get RF4 and don't look back.

I found RF4 boring.. i couldnt get into it like i did 5.. that being said.. RF5 is lacking.. FPS is crap and its limited content.. its super short and next to no replay value..
