Controller not working

Need help pls, tried different gamepads and i also tried Big Picture Mode, nothing seems to work and i hate the keyboard controlls

My xbox series controller works just fine. I acitvated it before starting the game though.

My controller is working but I have a bad drift coming from it. Only happens with this title.

I unplugged and reconnected the adapter that I use to connect my controller and that got it working for some reason.

So i tried unplugging it and restarting my PC and it still don't see my controller or even work, I'm not even sure what to do because i can't even edit the controls for it to work for my Xbox controller.

You need to unplug it while steam is open, then re-plug it in. I've tested and I need to repeat the process each time.

The only problem is unplugging the series controller turns on the series x console.

Apparently the fix that was working earlier stopped working. Now nothing I do seems to work anymore. My theory is that it only worked randomly, and I just got lucky before.
They need to fix this ASAP.

Game uses steam input natively, if it cant fire up steam input, you dont get controller support. There is no fallback, I forced it off. You must have steam input active for the game.

it is active. the game just wont register that i have a controller connected. literally turned on little noah, a game that only supports controller, and had no issues but rf5 still wouldnt work with it.

lol thats a lie, i use said xbox elite controller and i play fine. if anything is it something with your pc when others have no issues.

its an issue somewhere on your end. one of my friends plays this even with a nintendo switch controller via USB and anotherone with a noname playstation copycat controller, tho the one with the playstation copycat controller has xbox buttons shown in the totorials xP.
