What's up with the resolution?
The launcher doesn't have anything other than 1280x720. Is there a fix or toggle I don't see?

How?

I disabled it in device manager. There's a category there for your gpu's, and there I saw both my 3080 and my iGPU, and I just disabled the latter and the next time I started the launcher all the resolutions were available :)

The resolution is messed up for me too. I've updated my drivers, shut off my secondary monitor and rebooted - nothing is working.
Same here.

it's all there for me, you did select the launcher right? it should open a menu before launching the game. It should have a lot of settings, including different resolutions.

Yeah. The launcher resolution has a bunch of options, but it does not have anything about 1920 for me when my monitor is 1440p.

Hey everyone! It's possible you'll need to choose your high-performance graphics card as the default for running games. Some motherboards have on-board GPU that will mistakenly be used by default. If you have an NVIDIA card, right-click your desktop and open the NVIDIA Control Panel. On the "Manage 3D settings" page, make sure the preferred graphics processor is the one you want. You can also go to the Program Settings tab and configure Rune Factory 5 specifically how you want it.

If you're still unable to find your resolution, please email support@xseedgames.com with your DxDiag output attached as a .txt file!

Hi guys, sharing my findings and potential solutions here

I have 2 monitors, my main one is connected using display port and is landscape oriented.
My 2nd one is connected using hdmi and is portrait oriented.

Somehow the only resolution options i got, are those of portrait resolution like 1080x1920, 900x1600 and so on, with the only landscape resolution being 1280x720.

I tried to unplug my 2nd monitor, then all the options are gone except 1280x720. seems like something to do with display port?

But anyway, I tried to make my 2nd monitor landscape oriented, then all the resolution options i got became landscape resolution, and I am able to choose 1920x1080 as the main resolution.

So the solution i got from it, is that I make my 2nd monitor landscape oriented, pick the resolution i want, untick the option to always start with launcher, save. Then when i start the game with my 2nd monitor back at portrait orientation, the game no longer opens the config launcher, and the game is now running at 1920x1080.

I'm not sure if my situation is the same as anyone or not, but hope it can help.

You my friend are my hero :) - In order to get mine to work I had to unplug my second monitor, reboot my computer before the options came up.
