Game modes explained?

Is there some explanation somewhere that is more indepth about what the different types of gamemodes is exactly? Like if the HP is on/off in chillout, how does stamina work in the different modes and so on. (Not for Custom ofcourse, that one is self explainatory.
I want like an explanation for each one like this:
Chillout:
Stamina is on [XXX] mode
HP is on [XXX] mode etc.

Although it is counter-intuitive and I support your post to have an actually posting explaining it, some of the settings for each can be found by setting the desired difficulty, exiting the screen, and going back in and switching to custom. Custom should retain the settings from the previous selection. Note, do not choose the Creative option as this checks the Unlock Recipes option which can never be toggled again. Choose it last.

Yeah ofcourse, I am just lazy and wanted to know if any of the others met my needs :)

Oh, I'm definitely +1 on this. But this system is still brand new. You should have seen some of the localisation during testing :) I would love to see a full explanation right there on the screen where you choose.

Thanks for the tip on getting the information now, which seems pretty simple and straight-forward, but I agree that adding the descriptive text to the choice screen is preferable.

In the meantime:

Custom: All basic game play settings can be toggled on or adjusted with a range slider

Chill Out Mode: *Infinite Stamina: On

Creative Mode: *Infinite HP, Infinite Stamina, Fast Building and Instant Building : On
*Min. Season Duration (Days): 1

As per the dev team, this system is still being worked on at the moment. More expansive explanations will come in a future update as these different settings are finalized. Until then, for maximum control, I would suggest simply using the "Custom" setting and choose your own adventure... (yeah, shameless plug to the books of my childhood)

For creative mode I wished they allow instant free crafting as well not just free build mode :(, gotta spend time crafting those paper lanterns dammit.

Yeah, I agree. The Custom Mode let's you jiggle all of the accessible basics , so I don't personally see the need for Creative or Chill Out, but they were fun to mess with.
