Unable to finish the game or move on

Thought I'd done all that I can, liberated the regions, built all the available special projects, got married, had a child. After an eternity of waiting and back and fourth to the temple for MANY seasons, my son is finally able to graduate, yay I thought to myself....only to be absolutely crushed by the fact that the graduation is not yet available in the game....how absolutely disappointing....

I agree it can be frustrating, I still consider the game in Early Access mentally because of so MANY frustrating elements that still persist to this day.
The key is to have as much fun with it as you can and enjoy the Japanese setting, the music, the bits of history that is imparted by speaking to the different NPC's and plantings trees and bushes (up to the very limited number of 125 though).

If you have not played yet Medieval Dynasty, then do so. MD is in a different stratosphere than Sengoku and in 'Oxbow' you can also play as a female.
So much more to be able to build, decorate and also being able to place items outside of buildings.
