Engine / requirements question

Hi,

if I am not mistaken Sengoku Dynasty runs on UE5 (comparing to Medieval Dynasty running on UE4). Frankly, from screenshots and videos I didn't see a great difference, but hey, I am old, and I'll wait till SD comes out to judge for myself.

Now, what I am wondering about is this. On several websites other than Steam have read somewhat differing recommended specs for the game, namely some listing 16 GB of RAM as recommended.

I am aware that UE5 is pretty new still, but the requiremenst listed on Steam seem a bit on the high, possibly ridiculous side.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't really know enough about modern engines, but I am also not going to upgrade my rig just to play SD, however much I may want to play it.

(I still run an 8GB 1070 with 16 GB of RAM)

So, my question is: can you help me assuage my fears that this might not run decently? How well optimized is the gane at this point, considering Early Access?

So far my PC has served me well for over 7 years, but I am afraid today it will hit a brick wall.
Very curious to see how this runs, but I'm not expecting much.

Think it might be time for an upgrade.

Exactly what I'm afraid of. It's a full gen behind. :)

The rest would pass as minimum... but yeah, that CPU. Luckily it's a K chip so I can push it a bit, but I'm not sure that's gonna save me.

Well i run boldar's gate 3 with low options and amd FSR, would be dumb if i don't run Sengoku dynasty

TBH... I'm already window shopping for a new MOBO and CPU :P
But it would be pretty awesome if my PC would be able to run this... just because it has done such a great job over the years.

I am on a i7 7700K, which likely isn't going to be a problem, that's why I didn't mention it.
