Daimyo Question.

So here's my situation... I have set up in Sosogi, and was eager to try out the new Daimyo features, so I built a Workshop and made a few copper spears. I had obtained some warrior monk robes, decent geta, and an ashigaru helmet, so I figured I was ready for some fights. First I hunted the Sosogi area for mini bandit camps and found none. I next went to the Sosogi regional Big Base, and slaughtered everything that moves and looted everything that didn't, including the leader. I found a copper pickaxe. I was expecting to receive access to new build and weapon options, but the map didn't change, and neither did my build options.

Question: What do I have to do to unlock the new build options that give me access to bronze, if not wipe out the Sosogi main base?

You can check your current progress of liberating regions in the Map Tab, with the regional overlay turned on. All regions require you to complete some special project or projects to liberate them, so perhaps you still have this condition to fulfill for the Sosogi Region.
