With hammer equipped, press E or F to change the door, can't remember which hey is for door and which is for material.
Can put doors where ever you wish and change doors to walls and change building material as well.
right so i can hit E but its only to change it from a ramp door, plain wall, or windowed wall
yes, i even tried verify the filers thinking i might have a bug but every house i try to build is the same no matter the location
We have leantos after all, which is more of a makeshift anything. :)
Actually it is very realistic. Thats how people built back in the days in rural japan. Those kinds of shacks were used for all kinds of things like storages, small shrines, but also for mid-term living (during most of the time from spring until autumn - like for farm workers directly living besides the farm.)
Not without any kind of cover for the door it wasn't. You would at the very least have heavy cloth or skins covering it - Cause you know... the elements. Having a human sized opening in the wall is a great way to lose all insulation and heat.
Yes - It is indeed Japan. Where such concepts as snow and sub-zero temperatures are absolutely a thing during Winter. Who would have thought.
Hence the questioning towards a doorframe with nothing to hang on it during cold or windy weather.
wouldnt it slide like all the other doors?
