DirectX 12 problem, Troubleshooting so far not successful, please help
I am a big fan of Medieval dynasty, I have been playing it for more than 750 hours and I still love it. I keep gushing about it to all my friends.
But, considering the fact that I can now go straight from Baranica to Hornica without ever having to take a look at the map ;), I thought a change of scene might be nice. And so I bought Sengoku Dynasty.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to launch it so far, and do not know what to do about it. Whenever I try, it says: „DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.“
But, I play on Windows 10, fully updated (I have doublechecked), and as far as I know, I do have DirectX 12. I have followed the instructions in the Troubleshooting guide as far as I am able, and it has not changed anything. I have tried the arguments in the Steam Client, I have updated Windows, I have used DISM and sfc /scannow.
What I do not know and would need help with, though, is how to check if my GPU is sufficient. I have two GPU, one is called Intel(R) HD Graphics P530, the other NVIDIA Quadro M2000M. I do not know which one is „stronger“ (I do not know what number will tell me that), and if I did, I would not know how to assign it to the game.
If you can help me with that or have any suggestions on what I could do, I´d be very grateful.
(I have a dxdiag file but I do not know how to upload it. I could copy and paste it though if that helps.)

The NVIDIA Quadro M2000M is the stronger of those two cards, unfortunately it only supports up to feature level 11_0 in Dx12. So it won't run the game. Really sorry to write.

What GPU do you run in your system?

Unfortunately no. Iris Xe does process feature level 12 but it is below the minimum requirements. Sorry to say.

This is my GPU also but I already purchased the game. How do I go about getting a refund?

Via Steam Support.

I tried but they denied it twice because it says I played the game over 2hrs, which I haven't. What I have since discovered is that while the DirectX 12 error dialogue box is on the screen, the game play timer is running in the background for some reason. I just tested this. I tried explaining this in my tickets and they still denied it. Now what do I do.
