I managed to change the resource for the walls of the house, but although the keys appear to change the roof from makeshift to a more permanent feature, the keys don't work?? Why am I not able to undertake the task of building the bridges, watchtowers as I was able to do previously, which takes someone away from the tasks for the village??
Now able to build a workshop, brilliant detail with the fact that it has storage for wood, water, general storage and food. However what is the point of this as no-one can access any of the items as I now have to build the separate production buildings in order for villagers to access these necessary items??
Having said that the update is looking good and it seems that you have daily tasks which keeps it more interesting.
Thank you
The doubled NPC is a known bug.
Meals can be a bit tricky with 4 villagers, but with 5 or 6 you can set up with solid sustenance. Note, that happiness does not apply yet, so no need to do any settings there.
Thanks for the answer. It may be a good idea to rethink needs for villagers in a future update. Now I have like 30 villagers and it will be really difficult to keep them happy with villager's supply. Even cutting extra wood, crafting weapons or whatever they need I can't reach to keep orange face level in dynasty balance.
Keep up the good work you're doing. It's gonna be a great game!
This a thing for the next balance pass. Will happen when more functionalites are included.
Thank you guys for all the hard working
I think the problem is that the villagers themselves do not contribute enough.. we have a forager, 3 fishermaen a hunter and a cook. we cannot with two of us hunting around keep them all fed.
I am not complaining just letting you know whats going on when the villages get a bit bigger.
Something wrong there, assuming you're playing the current version. I've been tracking my needs as population grows, and that's more in line with 22 (1012 meals) than with 10 villagers. Winter's Embers has a spreadsheet on Discord in the Guides-n-Hints section, Kaizen Needs and Best Items, which lists meals needs for 10 as 340, which I believe is based on the current formula. Make sure your happiness slider is set to base needs (orange) rather than boosted (green) and, if that's not the problem, try verifying your game files in case something got corrupted.
I'm having the same issue that you did. I have about 50 villagers and I can't keep up. I think I am in big trouble now. What happens when I can't feed them any longer. I've worked so hard, and have moved onto my second village to focus on more food, but that is slowing me down. I feel like I am doing all the work and no one is helping. I put food there and it's gone in minutes it seems like. Should I just start over and not have as many folks?
