Is it possible in the game somehow to rename or give a name to your house ?
If there is no such possibility, I would like it to be realized was the ability to choose your house.

It is not currently possible. Best way to deal with it is build one house, assign yourself to it, then build the other houses. Or just use a small house for yourself (one sleeping mat).

Thanks. I want to know, after I cut down a tree, will it grow again, if so, how much time should pass (seasons) and if I cut down stumps with an axe, will the tree grow, as far as I understand, digging out stumps with a shovel - the tree will not be able to grow again ? Does it make sense to dig out the stumps with a shovel or an axe, because the training says only about the shovel that the tree will not be able to grow again.

Actually, the tree will grow in the exact same spot over and over and over again. It will start as a sapling and go through growth stages every season until it reaches full strength again. Removing the stump makes this process go one season faster as the game doesn't have to despawn the stump and then grow a new sapling. ALL trees (small, medium, and large) will regrown as will any bush, even if you use the shovel to remove them. A bug report is in on it but no telling when anything can be done. The list is long and the Early Access has a ways to go.

Thank you for the detailed reply. As I understand you are a developer or somehow related to them, can I in this thread continue to ask about the nuances of the game and submit bugs I've encountered?

I am not a part of Superkami (developer) or Toplitz (publisher). I'm nothing more than a gamer. I use both Steam and Discord the same as everyone else. I am an 'alpha tester' in that I help test builds that are due to come out before they are released into the beta branch but that's the extent of my involvement beyond everyone else.
I just happen to have logged over 500 hours into the game so far and kind of know everything. :lunar2019coolpig:
I will subscribe to this thread so you can ask questions but bug reports should be made in the Bugs Forum here on Steam or, better yet, on the Toplitz Official Discord. It's not a bad thing to report things others have already reported. The more people report a potential bug, the better.
You can also join the Toplitz Official Discord (instructions in the pinned messages). I'm active there as well and it is more interactive and often a faster means of getting information as others are more active there as well.

Got it, how can I fire the villagers ?
Winter's Embers Jan 2, 2024 @ 3:03pm
You can't. Once you get 'em, you're stuck with 'em. There will be a mechanic for it much later. You might get a lot of info from the guides I wrote for Steam. They don't cover everything but they cover most things.

Yes I familiarized myself with them, but I didn't find the information I needed, perhaps I wasn't paying attention.

I have a few questions that have accumulated:
1. How to enable photo mode in the game to hide the interface
2. Is it possible to somehow remove the wild raspberry bushes in the village
3. I dropped the tools on the field and now I can not lift back, I understand this is a bug, treated by removing the field with the subsequent installation again.
4. Can you somehow speed up the process of rotting food to be able to create fertilizer.

1) F10
2) Use the shovel. Problem is, they regrow right now as the growth system is a work in progress. Or, build something on top of them.
3) Correct. It's currently a bug in progress of being fixed.
4) Store short freshness timer foods like fish, meat, and gobo inside a Tawara Bag place in your home or on a shed. Tawara bags accelerate rot.

hello
I realized that ice can be mined in the gutter, but I can't pour water into it to crystallize, which is quite strange, so I also tried to put a bucket of water on the ground, but it didn't freeze either.
Winter's Embers Jan 6, 2024 @ 2:39pm
Just lay the trough at any point. In winter, you can simply interact with it to harvest ice but only once per winter. If you want more ice, you have to lay out many troughs. I've seen people put 40 or more in lines just to collect ice. You get 2-4 ice per trough so lay out as many as you need.

Thank. But it's quite strange that I can't pour water into it in winter and leave it to freeze, the game kind of hints itself because the gutter has cells or just leave a bucket of water in the cold and get ice).

The ice is still kind of a work in progress. It's only used in one or two recipes and the ice storage doesn't actually work quite right. I'm sure it will be addressed at some point but since it has so little use, it's kind of a low priority compared to some of the bigger issues. Lots of things come out that don't quite work right in Early Access. It's kind of a waiting game for us players. It's the hell of Early Access.
I'm just kind of biding my time, waiting for new updates to test, playing a few games I picked up during the winter sale. It's been that way for me for the past 5 months or so (I started testing months before the early access release). You kind of get used to it.
