yep - oddly firewood turns into more charcoal. basic firewood - ends up being more charcoal.. firewood is 4? heat - where charcoal is like 5? - but firewood turns into more charcoal.. 20 firewood = 40 charcoal?
so you get way more "heating" out of charcoal.
*edit - plus it stacks more - 50 charcoal vs 20 firewood... so better heat #s and takes less space overall.
the items location in inventory matters?
odd - one would think they'd use the higher "quality" (more heat) items first?
if thats the case maybe thats why it seems like in my village, with just me and 2 others - only wineberries are being used/eaten? (at least enough i notice the numbers dropping..
Does it matter where you put it? i put my charcoal in my wood storage and my heating wont go up
