Finding or produce ice

Hello. Can anyone help me to build ice storage? It request 6 unit of ice and i dont know where to find it or how to produce it. Thx!

I found once 14 cubes of ice at one merchant. I hope i find again in order to build the ice building

build throughs, in summer, autumn it rains so they will catch a bit of water. It will freeze in winter and you will get ice cubes. The ice storage does not seem to be fully implemented cause if you put them in there they disappear on season change so use them immediately

Important discovery: To the northeast of Segi is a lake. It freezes during winter and has minable ice nodes. I got a ridiculous amount of ice from it! Built my 2nd village on its shores with ice house. Good on general resources, but low on bamboo or I just haven't found it yet. Really enjoying the game... now if only I understood better why i need an ice house storage bldg...

There's a massive bamboo forest to the north of the lake. You just have to cross boar- and wolf-infested lands to get there :)

I built my main village on the lake side and you have every ressource at an arrow's shot from the lake. And for now , with ice melting in spring, mining ice in the winter is a really good way to make money, since no field is growing anything.

I have a village next to the lake. So I had a lot of ice blocks. When the season changed this had melted and my entire water reservoir was filled with hundreds of liters of water. I assumed this was the intention, or was there something else you could do with the ice blocks?

u get ice blocks from a merchant, but beware u dont buy them close bevore a season change cuz very season change renders ice to water...
the other way u need a high quality pickaxe and find the winterlake that freezes in the middle of the map there u can dig ice in winter times for the cooling house

You can make cooling drinks for health needs.

You can unlock the Ice Storage before Dynasty Level 14 by getting a block of ice (e.g., from a trough). You can build it by building enough troughs, or you can buy it from the Exotic Goods Vendor at the Monastery. Due to the cost, it's not worth buying it to make Cooling Drinks. You can also sell your excess ice; it's for seasonal use, so do it before Winter ends. As mentioned above, anything left will melt once Spring comes.

How do you get ice from the lake motherload? I’m so confused. People say if u put a village there, u can get ice from the lake, but how? There is NO option to harvest it & no job to assign a worker to the lake to harvest, so I dnt understand what this lake “motherload” of ice is even for. I built my village on this lake.

If everything is working properly, you should be able to assign your miners to mine ice in winter, or you can mine it yourself. I'm not there yet in my latest game, so not sure what the status is at this point.

Build a mining production building - the option is there for them to mine the ice.
