Is there a war system in this game?
Can player form and command troops to resist the enemy's massive invasion? Does the game have a war system and a force command system? I hope so.

Not everyone, surprisingly.

Hello, 灭资兴无!

Of course we see your questions. I even remember meeting you before.

We cannot answer this one in detail, yet. However, I'm sad to say that "massive invasions" are probably not what you will find in a Dynasty game. But stick around, maybe Superkami will share some details that will make you curious for the game nonetheless.

Could you please stop spreading such nonsense? At least inform yourself before you come with false accusations.

Does the war system exist? Does the force command system exist? Without these two systems, the game would not be interesting.

I think there will be some bandits or deserters group somewhere in the wild just like in Medieval Dynasty.

Honestly, if there is no war system in a Sengoku Jidai game, I will lose 80% of interest. (Although I may still buy it because Medieval Dynasty is such as good game.)

From what I understand, this is a village/life simulator not Shogun Total War? I mean, if a real army showed up, they would just steamroll over some peasants with farming equipment.

Not every game needs to be like Mount & Blade. I've played a lot of Medieval Dynasty and the one thing on the Road Map I am not looking forward to is the Shields and Armor because I didn't buy MD for it's combat. There are other games for combat that do it much better (many, many, many other games). I bought MD for something else, 3D first person Banished-like game. Hoping SD offers something similar.

Go play Mount and Blade Warband (great game and has a Sengoku mod called "Gekokujo"), this game is not a war game and I would find it uninteresting if it did have "massive invasions". I just want it to concentrate on building and keeping the village alive.

There are hundreds of thousands of users who do not share your opinion - if not millions.
There are more than enough games whose essential content consists of aimlessly and indiscriminately slaughtering everything that moves. Personally, I am very glad that most probably this one game will be an exception to that. If you don't like it, you'll have no problem finding thousands of games in the Steam shop that are more suited to your archaic urge to kill.

Edit:
I removed info about main char history because it's wrong and misleading.

This game has been peaceful from the beginning and I dare say almost all players who play this game like it for that very reason. The character on whose story this game is based has fled a war to live a new, better life, and especially one that is free of fighting, senseless violence and cruel battles if possible. How stupid would it be to flee from one war to another? The game's developers have made it clear time and again that Medieval Dynasty is and will remain a non-violent game at its core. Deal with it or - Steam Shop.

Not stupid but desparated - that's why Ikko Ikki get so big support. You can ran away from war but war can came to you after all. To avoid real life example because will be too controversial or niche i will give Avatar 2 as example : Jake Sully ran away with family to avoid war. But humans find him anyway so he was forced to fight again. So war is no choice.

But i agree that Sengoku Dynasty doesn't need war system. Bandtis will be enough

Thank you for your reply. It made me notice that I probably mixed up two games and I brought up the Story info about Racimir who is the main character in Medieval Dynasty.
I changed my post accordingly.

Note to self: Always make sure which game forum you are in before posting a comment ... xD

From the news posts:

I walk through the winterly cherry tree groves of my country. Step by step, I wearily trudge through the snow. Yet my thoughts are wandering elsewhere. They do not revel in the sunlight around me, or around the things we flee from. They are looking for the one place where we can find peace and build our new home.

Does this sound like someone looking to build an army? Defense from bandits is one way to insure a peaceful place to live and that's about all I'd expect to see in this game.
