Game used to tell you what is average level of enemy in the each area and help beginner knew where to go. I don't know why Dev remove that.
Trying to explore the map you are able to, the power also came from Talent point that you might discover around the map. Focusing upgrade "+Main Weapon Attack". It'll make your hit stronger and don't spread your talents point in too many weapons, pick only 2-3 and save those point for +hp and +defense. There's not enough talents point for all weapons + stat until you are lv90+.
*** You can check Enemy info in Bestiary. It'll show enemy lv and their stat. Also don't trying to fight Big boss in Whispering forest "Gondor, the Eldritch Fusion" at your level. He was made for late game. You can do it at lv60-65 if you know what you doing but it's ok if you can't beat him, just come back when you at lv 70+
