Question about 100% each map

Does it autofill if you get all items like in Ender Lilies or do i have to see all of the map to get it to 100% if its the later, than how am i supposed to map 100% of something like Rainbow Plains without flying?

Se, the fairy, sells an afterimage you can equip that allows you to see the # of chests in areas, how many you've gotten, and it will "ping" when you're close to a treasure you haven't found. That's how everyone is 100% the maps.

But, you need to buy out Se's store multiple times for her to restock. It's called Se's Treasurescope. You will also gain access to super jump (unlimited vertical jump) once you've reached the final areas of the game.

If you're talking about the color of the map getting filled in it does it automatically.

I’ve got all but one item on the map but a lot of areas under completion show under 100%. A lot of little hidden rooms on the map never get actually added to the map. I still haven’t taken the patch yet so maybe they fixed it
