Door behind the kitten

How is it possible to open the door behind the kitten? I don't wanna spoil anything, but I'm pretty in the endgame phase and I don't have any clue.
P.S. I already delivered the message from the old cat in the holy ground

That door can't be opened. Same for the similar door in Field of Pyro the ferry man can take you to. I think it might be for DLC in the future.

as any good from game. last part of the game and NG+ looks rushed. Sadly.

Scratch what I said, I remember that they would have a dlc, but you'll play as someone else (the guy with the pet searching for the hermit or whatnot)
