Some one get the skill 'Judgement cut'?
I got this ability But it's very troublesome to use. because it so low do damage. It also dashes towards the enemy, causing me damage even it can parry. V_V

I would also like to know if anyone has found a way to use this ability with success. My experience with it are... bad. longer charge time with the dash means I always take a hit and the damage as JJJ mentioned is miserably low. I currently find absolutely no reason to use Judgment Cut over Thousand Crosses. I wish it worked similar to the Unsheather Hollow's dash attack, but as it is now its just a dead skill.

Katanas are actually terrible compared to animation canceling Dualswords especially the pair that allows you to teleport behind enemies backs and backstab. From my experience Duals = Scythe >> Katanas

Personally i use Dual daggers and Greatsword. Dual daggers for fast damage and aerial attacks and Greatsword for big 1 swing damage and Iron Bastion skill. Katana is clunky, Sword is pretty meh, Whips and scythe animations are too long.

Same, also from what i see, everyone has Greatswords for Parrying as their secondary weapon.

I think there are a lot of strange things in this game. about weapon balance Some poses that I try to use It's difficult to use. But it's vulnerable to taking damage. Even though Judgment cut can Parry but I don't see it being any better than normal attacking and falling back to defend in many situations. V_V

I don't see a reason to use anything other than Dualblade jump attack, teleport attack and the scythe throw. They seem so much stronger than other weapon skills.

some of the weapon skill desperately need to be buffed or balanced, testing out 2 non element weapon ( whip with 101 attack and sword with 103 attack and both are fully enhance with all skill unlocked) and the Up + Attack skill of whip did 5x 42 ~ 46 dmg per hit while the sword Up + attack skill only did 3x 12dmg, as u can see the whip did a total of 210 ~ 230 dmg per skill while the sword only did a total of 46 dmg per skill and this has been tested on the same enemy

All the sword skills do really bad damage. The sword damage calc is either bugged or it need a massive buff.

The problem is, swords are balanced for normal attacks I think, but once you reach a point you almost never want to be using normal attacks over weapon skills.

The issue is that a single good skill with damage/range make a weapon type much more efficient than another, and from what I remember swords have none.

Judgement cut is unusable, you have to be right in front of the enemy, so that you finish behind him, with both a waiting time before and after the cut, where you must not take damage.

I will have to test weapon damage, but the Blade didn't need a powerful final skill anyway, the jump attack do like 150% normal damage (2-hit), likely higher than any other weapon type, and Thousand Crosses + Instant may do less damage than Aria (the final scythe skill), but has so much range (half the screen) that some mobs don't even register you're killing them, and if I'm not mistaken can be found way earlier.

Katanas need a total rework, especially the parry being on final skill instead of it being on the first 2 slots. Also katana parry feels worse than Greatsword while also having the worst range/aoe/dps from all weapons.
