Fielder No.1 - Deep Mid Off
Fielder No.2 - Short Mid On
Fielder No.3 - Short Cover
Fielder No.4 - Short Square Fine Leg
Fielder No.5 - Mid-Wicket
Fielder No.6 - Deep Backward Square Leg
Fielder No.7 - Straight On
Fielder No.8 - Square Leg
Fielder No.9 - Third
I always bowl the same side as the batter, swinging the ball towards leg at full-length. Try to add after-touch to make sure it is hitting middle/leg stump. Your main way of getting them out will be bowling them out or they will edge it to the wicket keeper who will always dive to catch it. Sometimes it will result in LBW or a catch if you bowl short (I still swing it, but generally add more aftertouch and only bowl slow short balls). Can be more aggressive in moving the field up for short balls and moving Third to a slips position if you are willing to risk boundaries.
The only ways they can hit boundaries are just your unstoppable 6 that no field will stop, a ridiculous edge that will beat Third or an extremely well placed shot between Short Cover and Deep Mid Off. Otherwise, they shouldn't run or only run singles.
If you want a T20 field as well, I can post my field/strategy up.
