Chamberpots

I have 9 pallets of chamberpots roasting away in a composting area and yet I still run out of chamberpots for the toilets. If we're going for historical accuracy, wouldn't people have just dumped out the pots into a nightsoil heap and reused the pots? I could see them wearing out and breaking after so many uses, but not being discarded like modern day milk cartons. I like resource management games and by and large enjoyed growing my clan, but I didn't really sign up for poop management.

(In case you're wondering, I have at least 10 empty sacks in storage at all times, they never get used. I have stinky pots littering the landscape. It's mildly funny but at a certain point it's no longer fun.)

You can "empty" the chamber pots if they get full before the composter needs them. Dunno where the Clansfolk empty them though ;)

It sounds like you are letting the full chamber pots sit in a Gong Place (which is just a storage unit) until they rot away. Do you have an actual Composter (found in the Farming section of the build menu), and enough sacks/straw/ash to keep it running? They will empty the chamber pots into the composter, and you get back an empty pot immediately.

Oh that helps I need make 10 composters for one toilet that so insane. Why not make pit toilet? Here I was thinking when my people died why?
Now I know why...

Why not make so they burned burned the chamber-pots clean?

i have something like 16 toilets for 18 people and 10 livestock and only use one composter.
