Clanfolk turning on all the peat ovens when they don't need to
I've built a furnace room for my manor, and placed 8 of these fantastic new peat heaters inside it

Did an amazing job keeping the house at a toasty 18 deg in the middle of winter ..

But they're still being used overnight in the middle of spring, when it's nowhere near as cold.

I really don't want to have to micro these heaters. Can the people be programmed to only refuel the heaters (and the fireplaces) when they need to be to keep the temperatures up?

+1 vote, tbh. There's quite a bit of unnecessary fuel burning, still. I was hoping the Keep Lit update was going to do something useful, but it doesn't really. Folk will stock up a Fireplace/Peat with fuel in the Evening and then all 10 pieces will burn all night. Heaters in not-connected-to-sleeping-spaces airspaces should get turned off at Sundown.

And I think I saw them turn it on in the Morning of like Summer 3 or something. Like. Rly?

Like, ot1h I dug up a huge peat bog and I have srs like 2 years worth of peat now. And super yay for a non-spark-throwing Heater. But I sure wouldn't mind a bit more fine-tuned control over 'no really, don't use Heaters when X conditions are being met.'
Might be a product of the old days when everyone was whinging about how hard it was to keep the fires lit overnight

Quick fix: once it warms up enough to not need the fires at night, shift-click a peat oven to select all peat ovens, and hit the "stop" button to disable them for the rest of the year. Re-enable one to use for cooking brose, if you like.

You'll have an ugly red "stopped" icon on them all the time, but it will prevent you from burning through all your peat and making the house uncomfortably hot.
Yeah I do that now .. this is more about fixing it so I don't need to.
