Pets: How to get (?)

Quick question, after seeing a wild cat I started thinking about how I get pets in-game for myself. Is it a requirement or random scenario? I saw when I started in the clan choosing menu (I think it was that) it had the option to buy pets and animals with money. Answers are greatly appreciated! ^^

You can either buy a Cat in the start Menu. (Same for Dog)
Or you tame a wild Cat over time (it gains tameness when its Close to you or when it eats/Drinks out of the pet Bowl)
Alternativly you can buy Cats and dogs from Traders.

You need to build a Cat bed to unlock it
