Can I ask what language you speak? I want to adopt 'mimimi' as a replacement to 'wahh', because that's adorable, but if anyone asks, I want to be able to say 'it's what they say in such a language.' Has a little bit more weight than 'I read it on the internet,' you know? X D
For juveniles who are Afraid of the Dark, a Rushlight on a corner table will remove Afraid of the Dark without making it Too Bright.
and here is a song about it. not shure if its the origin but its posible.

They need to be heated at night in winter to be warm, most warmth producing things have a light attached to it so you have a few options:
1. ONLY have windows- They provide light during the day but not at night, you get a minor debuff in the room from them being unable to see but that goes away when they are asleep
2. Have light but block their bed from the light with walls/curtains- This requires a room big enough for this but you get the best of both worlds, they don't see light when they lay down but can see well enough when moving around.
3. Have no light at all- they are going in there to sleep, who needs lights?
i think i have to rearange a bit to get this to work.
but my first winter is in 2 days so i first try to survive this.
all i have read so far is the winter is brutal. lets see if i get throuh and can fix this building.
I really wouldn't worry about it, just put a window in each bedroom and forget about it. The "low light" debuff goes away as soon as they enter a bright area, so as long as you don't have stuff in the bedrooms to encourage them to linger there, they'll lose it soon after waking up and heading off to bathe/eat/whatever.
Here's how I've dealt with light. Also, now in the testing branch some more decorative lights have been added that don't cause the "too bright" debuff but lightens a small area. I've started adding them to bathrooms and rooms without a window.
Really nice setup!
