Clanfolk

Task Priorities a bit Wonky
I've got a small clan - roughly 9 people + 1/2 workers, and I normally keep my outstanding tasks between 50-120, however I've noticed they've all started avoiding clothing jobs.

I've got someone with it as highest priority, and the loom, tailor bench etc are all on 7/8 ish, but I'm watching them head over the other side of the map to build things/haul etc which are not boosted - just normal priority 5 jobs, which are also a long way down that individuals skill list. Nobody else is going to do them either - despite have a couple with good clothing skill and it consequently being high on their list.

Is this something anyone else has encountered?

I have never seen that sort of thing. Are you sure you have the materials they need to do whatever jobs you have queued? What happens if you manually add a job to, say, the tailoring bench?

Also, if it is winter, note that the wool washing station cannot be used if the room is below freezing, which will cause all subsequent tasks in the wool clothing chain to grind to a halt once the current supply of clean wool is used up; and likewise, retting flax requires liquid lakes/streams and will stop in winter.

I've got all the materials - they're in the stockpile in the room! - it's spring and the room is heated to 18 degrees. They weren't automatic tasks, these are manually queued ones.
I have just moved all the benches - just packing them into crates and putting them back. I then re-queued the jobs and they started behaving normally again.

I experience this too and get to the same solution as you. It seems the only way to make them do tailoring again.
If this persists past save and reload, please do send the save to dev for bug hunting.
If it's genuine bug in task reservation chains, having a real case for finding the bug helps really much.
With just short mention, without files to work from, reproducing the issue is almost impossible, and without having the problem available finding the cause and especially the solution would take at least 2-3 days more coding time than being able to see the faulty behaviour.
And since none of us wants the busy dev to waste days in chasing just rumours of bugs, do send those saves!

Even if it turns out to be glitch in local game instead of bug in code from faulty Steam download (have you verified your files?) that information will help a lot too.
(NB. For those who use trainers / other cheat programs, bug is in the trainer. First get a totally clean install of game and completely new run without continuing saves from time with trainer, that'll remove about all the glitches.)
