[Cheat Engine] Easy-ish method of cheating items - requires trader who buys them
So with the game still lacking ingame cheats, or a debug menu, or modding, or save game editing, the only method available is Cheat Engine. And while editing some things like your cash is easy, if you want to give yourself more items, it gets quite cumbersome as you cant exceed the stack limits, so you have to painstakingly do it once stack at a time.

So I wanted to share a method I figured out which takes less work, but requires that one of the other clans buys what you want to multiply, and you need to wait for their trader to come by.

What we'll be exploiting here is that while you're paused on the trader menu, you can identify in Cheat Engine the stack that you sell from, then replenish that stack, then sell from it again, then replenish it again, and so on until you've sold the amount you wanted to give yourself. Then you just buy it all back, at the same price you sold it.

You can even go up to 1 trade stack above the maximum stack, so for example if you're multiplying Hay, which is capped at 200 per stack and traded 100 at a time, and you have a stack of 130, you sell once to bring it to 30, then edit it to 230, and you'll be able to sell twice, since the stack limit only takes effect after the required amount is taken away. But if you edit it to 330, after trading away 100, the game will destroy the remaining 30 above the stack limit, and so you'll be left with a stack of 200 from which you can still only sell once more before destroying the stack.

And if it happens that you only have 1 trade amount left, after selling it and editing the stack, it will still be greyed out in the trader menu, but you can simply buy back what you sold, then sell it again, then you'll be able to sell more from the replenished stack.

If you want to multiply more than the trader can afford to buy, you can buy up whatever they're selling, then sell it back once you're done. Edit: Whoops, actually traders dont buy back what they just sold you.

And if you dont have a full trade stack to start the process, you'll have to get someone to split or merge a stack so you can find it in Cheat Engine, you can order something built or crafted or even dismantle something.

Finally, please keep in mind the dev's request to not report bugs encountered after cheating:

Make sure you can replicate the bug in an unedited savegame first.

What is the point of playing a game if you're going to cheat your way thru it.

Well excuse me if I feel it's unfair that I didnt get a single drop of rain during the first summer, when I had invested a lot of my people's time in early tilling and planting.

Getting the occasional drought might be realistic, but it's not the gameplay I want in my first year, while I'm still learning the game.

starting with two lambs is cheating? I must not be as good as I thought.
Yeah I don't get it either. This game isn't hard, it's too easy .. so much so that you run out of reason to keep playin
sorry to resurrect an 11 day dead thread but consider: people like to have fun in different ways and for some people, using cheats increases that fun. it's a singleplayer game, let people play how they want to play
