Chetz 1.0: Full Release Update

The 1.0 Full Release for Chetz! is finally here!

This update includes support for all controller types, a new post-game level pack, and bug fixes!

Major Additions:

A new post level pack is available for all to play! Play through 10 more remix-styled difficult levels and chetz-mate your opponent! This pack is added as the first level pack in the post-game, with the previous level pack being pushed back in the level order!
With this pack update, Chetz! is now fully ready for release on Steam with the Early Access content promises finished in three major update cycles!

Minor Improvements:

Controller support improved for more controller types.
Bug fixes in regards to piece movement and level design.

The future of Chetz! is likely to be focused on bug fixes for the foreseeable future. In the event of major support from the player-base, more level packs, soundtracks and skins could be considered, all for free access for the initial purchase of the game!

September Update: Controller Update

Apologies for the lateness of the September Update due to personal reasons, but it is now here!

What's New:

This update has reworked the codebase for the controls in its entirety, in order to fix issues arising from using various controllers!

All players should be able to use any gamepad / controller to play Chetz now!

Next Update:

The next update will be focused on more end-game content! It is planned to release in October!

Early Access Update Schedule

Hi Chetz masters,

Now that the game is out on Early Access on Steam, it is worth discussing what the progress from this point on is going to look like. The game will see continued support during its Early Access journey, albeit with more focus on major updates that will come out less frequently.

Update Frequency

The intended roadmap that the game will take from this point on is monthly updates until full release. The August update is being worked on, and hopefully will be about upgrading the control scheme of the game to fit more with other controller set-ups. In the following months until release, at least one more level pack is going to be added for content, in the September and October update(s).

Full Release Timing

With content updates and controls updates added, with more achievements, the game will hopefully be ready for 1.0 release close to the end of the year in Q4 2021. Continued support from fans and players in the meantime is crucial to be able to polish up the game to its conclusion.
