Weapon Advantages
I am curious about the various weapon types. Some of the weapons are clearly better than others for example the straight swords seem especially good, but when it comes to items like the sickle or club I have not really been able to tell if there is much of a difference.

Do they have situational advantages like some being better against armor or something like that?

Almost all weapons have little differences. A sickle does a bit more damage than a club, and is also a sharp weapon. Which means that you can cut ropes with it (like those anvils are hanging down from). Then there's also the number of targets a weapon can hit. For example, the giant hammer can hit as many as 99, whereas the sword only hits one enemy. Then there's the weight of items. A giant hammer slows you down significantly, to the point where some jumps will be tough to make. Another value that might differ is how much knockback a weapon deals. The mace is slightly different than the sword, because it has greater knockback, but on the other hand is is not a sharp weapon and therefore doesn't cut down ropes.
