I love and hate this game.

I had a nice gold armor and decent gear when i stepped through a door i pulled it all off to repair. Little did I know there was a bomb going off somewhere in the level and I didn't hear it or think to search the whole level and needless to say it blew up the whole tower and launched my controller at the wall somehow. Anyway...

haha, sorry to hear you exploded. I think the visual clues for the powder kegs could be improved, sometimes it's easy to miss them.

It was one of those levels that it was off to the side that I hadn't moved to yet so I didn't even see the barrel. My volume was too low I guess and I didn't hear the hissing sound the active keg makes. I know now to look or repair my armor in a cleared room.

It did it again. I enjoy slowly methodically clearing a room and I don't hear the bomb going off further in the level. Perhaps there's a way they could make a bomb fuse burning more apparent other than a slight sound.

This suggestion got a lot of votes on our update #1 survey, so hopefully we'll have a solution for it when we start working on more QoL fixes.
