Alia & ghost queen

I am at the very end of the game. I blew Enoill away to get his key (see other thread, I still have a savegame right before doing that), showed the papers to the king, and Carlo is in prison. I can't seem to talk to Carlo, and when I try to talk to the king, his mouth moves, but there is no accompanying audio. I tried visiting the ghost in the crypt, but nothing happened.

When walking to the Ylside bunker, Alia shows up, we go to lake, the snakes take her, but the ghost queen doesn't show up to save the day. I thought that this wasn't supposed to happen if you had discovered Carlo?

I think you have broken the quest by killing Enoill. You are supposed to buy him a beer. After he drinks it he goes to the toilet and leaves the key on the chair where he was sitting.
