Armor and weapon condition icons dissapeared.

I am playing the game for the first time and have noticed that after some time armor and weapon condition icons dissaperaed from the UI.
At the very beginnig when I equipped some dagger and leather pants it was shown on the bottom left corner of the screen - coloured icons (from green to red gradient according to its condition). Now I have found some advanced armor, weapons and shield, and there are no icons of its condition at all.
Is it a bug or it somehow depends or some skill level?
I watched some walkthrough videos and everybody has it the same - no armor icons after some period of time.
Im playing the latest Arx Libertatis patch.

Afair the conditions only show if they are in bad condition.
