Help. How do you fix game.

I see a lot of links to go and pacth this game but no step by step on how to go about it. I ask becouse I have no idea on how to do these sort of thing on my own. To do a manual patch is impossibe for me as am not tech suave by any means. If theres someone kind enough to give me a guide through it be very much appreciated. Thank you

There is no guide needed. You install Arx Fatalis on steam or the gog-version and then download Arx Libertatis 1.1.2 for windows 32 or 64 bit operating systems and simply install it. There are no further patches needed.

Since no one can tell you if you are using a 32 or 64 bit windows you have to figure this out on own.

Thank you. If its as simple as you say I think I can at least do that much. When it comes to these sort of thing I get very nervous. I just really want to play this game. Again, thanks a lot.

After you installed Arx Libertatis make sure you start Arx Libertatis and not Arx Fatalis.

The patch does not overwrite the original game but makes a new Installation of Arx Libertatis and takes all the resources from Arx Fatalis

HA! finally got the nerve to do this. It works and the game acually runs great. Thanks, this game would have been sitting in my library forever if not for your help. For anyone else reading this, the link works and easy to install.

What all does this add? I ama huge Arx Fatalis fan, bought the disc version the day it came out, loved it and bought the steam version later when the disc had issues.

I havn't played this game in some years, but it is one of my favorites, might have to hop on again sometime and try this mod/patch. Any info on what it all adds would be appreciated, at a quick glance it looks like a patch to fix things with the game (ala Gothic 3 community patches?)
