Going by this batch, whicj of these mods is worth using at least to eliminate bugs and offer enhancement to visuals.

Personally, the only one I would definitely want to download and install for my first time playthrough is the Arx Libertatis mod and it's latest Dev snapshot, then you are good to go. The links to both have been posted many times already on this forum if you care to look. If you have a decent dedicated graphics card, point the game to use that and the graphics will not only look pretty good anyway but you will also be playing the improved game as near to vanilla as you can get but without the bugs that shipped with the original game. Just my opinion of course. It's a great game BTW. Enjoy.

There is also a HD-Texture pack u can download. Works with Arx Libertatis. Makes game look way much better since Arx Libertatis killed Bump Mapping.

So from my understanding, there is the standard Libertatis mod, and there is an update in the form of the 'Dev snapshot'

So first I install the mod, then I copy paste the dev snapshot right?

Yep, that's it. The dev snapshot doesn't have an installer so just needs to be extracted.

Thanks! The liberatis mod ups the visual presentation already so the 4 gb mod might be more apparent in later parts of the game it seems

I will be going mage. Just need to survive the first encounter :v
