troll amulet not working

ive read that the troll amulet makes it so trolls wont attack me, but the trolls in the mine still agro. does the amulet really do anything, does it not effect those trolls, will other trolls or the goblins all hate and attack me on sight if i kill the ones in the mines?

I think its broken scripts.someone died and everyone thinks it's you. for example, such a glitch occurs with a waterclan.

it is weird cause the troll village trolls dont attack me. is it safe to kill the mine trolls then?

If you attacked any troll (ergo, made them your enemies) before getting the amulet, it's useless.
You have to complete the Greu quest and get the amulet before ever aggroing a troll for it to work.

The troll amulet works fine. As long as you haven't previously attacked a troll, the trolls in the mines on level 5 will call you a friend if you keep the amulet in your inventory. Some of the goblins on the other hand, will attack you on sight but the earth and water goblins on level 5 will not attack you as they want you to do a quest for them. Even if you kill all the goblins on that level, goblins on other levels will not automatically attack you.
