Necro indeed, but thank you so much! Can type setspeed <speed> instead, even easier. 1.25 speed works nicely (1.5 makes too much steps sounds :D).

I use the current v1.2.1 Arx Libertatis and desperately want to change the player speed in console. Unfortunately, the #%$!* shortcut key (`) does not work and at least in the game settings there is no option to change it. Anyone got a solution for that?
The Wiki says that the dev console only works in debug builds, so maybe that's the problem.

In the Wiki it also says you can use a spell in release builds:
"In release builds the following cheat spell opens the console:

Aam Rune (create)Mega Rune (increase)Stregum Rune (magic)Comunicatum Rune (control)Spacium Rune (field) Aam Mega Stregum Comunicatum Spacium (create increase magic control field)

You do not need to have the runes to cast this spell. Casting the spell once unlocks the console, after which it can be opened using the normal hotkey."

I tried the spell several times and the runes show up in the right upper corner but 3 of them were crossed out and nothing happens so I guess I am on a debug build and not a release build? But then why does the shortcut key for the console not work

Any help's appreciated!

You might want to check that the key is bound in the controls - i had to do this x_x

You might want to check that the key is bound in the controls - i had to do this x_x
