Khrushchevka is a cheap Soviet-Era apartment building named after a Soviet Leader of that time they are constructed during 1960 - Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev.
Learn about Khrushchevka here[en.wikipedia.org]
Gigakhrushchevka in Samosbor is stretched infinitely in all directions. With endless floors, corridors, living and othe types of blocks and apartments. People are somehow "Live" there and by "Live" i mean "Nonsensical short-term existence", it's really THAT misirable here, not to mention various anomalies, monsters and of course... Samosbor itself.
No one know if there is escape from it and what really is outside of Gigakhrushchevka, perhaps something even more horrible or perhaps not.
In KLETKA (THE CAGE) you descend to lower and lower floors of Gigakhrushchevka (which is funny, because what really low and high floor in this infinite building here?). In the DEMO what you explored is just a tiniest taste of what Gigakhrushchevka has to offer, we hope that Devteam at Callback and in404 release more interesting and sinister stuff that lurks deeper and deeper in this concrete miserable labyrinth.
To those who is from SCP crowd. Just imagine SCP-3008 aka Infinite Ikea, but it's apartment building with STALKER stuff jammed into it like anomalies and Samosbor itself acting as "Emission Event" on some floors of Gigakhrushchevka.
Samosbor is an anomaly\phenomenon that occurs on some floors of Gigakhrushchevka.
No one knows what exactly it is and where it's coming from, because no one lives to tell about it. If you get in contact you either perish or turn into all sorts of monstrosities.
The only distinct features of Samosbor are purple fog and smell of raw, ucooked meat. The whole security systems is built to alert and protect people in living zones of Gigakhrushchevka. Detectors, alarms and most importantly airtight hermetic doors of your apartment, that is if one of them isn't broken.
When Samosbor comes and alarms are on, you should close hermetic door and never... NEVER open it until Samosbor is over. But there is a catch, Samosbor will try to lure and entice you to open it, with voices of your relatives, friends and other hallucinations, it is really a test of your will and patience. And there is no guarantee that Samosbor will end on your floor, stuck inside of your apartment and left to die.
In KLETKA. Samosbor acts sorta like "time limiter" for you being on the floor. If that happens you can either run to your Kletka and escape the floor or actually hide from behind hermetic door. You only need to stay in room leading to corridor, NOT in the room next to Kletka. Basically on flat side of the door, not ibulging one. Wait out the alarm. poop your pants from sounds and when lights turned back on (if they didnt turned off before that is on this floor) and goop appears from the door, you safe to continue exploring this floor. If you have abundance of wrenches and rakes, feel free to dig up goop for fuel source and bottles, especially black ones, these usually give good stuff like upgrade cogs.
