2Jz

I bought the engine, had it sitting at the parts store while i was scrounging up money for parts, then it disapeared, I cant get that Jiggs guy to find it either, the option is grey'd out. Anyone have any idea's on how to get it back? Really don't want to start a new game.

I don't have any ideas. Maybe it re-spawned at the junkyard? I cant figure out how to buy the 2jz. Like i walk up to it, pick it up, and leave with out paying :\

I't didn't respawn at the junkyard, It was kind of tough to buy it you kind of have to look toward the bottom of the engine for it to pop up to buy it.

There seems to be a bug with the engine loosing all it's oil on starting the game. Try adding fresh oil to the engine.

Gotta say I do really enjoy the new engine. Although after playing with it for a few days I've finally managed wear something out in it. And so far trying to track down the broken part is a real PITA. Outside of maybe the pistons it's real hard to see which parts have the tel-tel 'rust' that indicates damage. Kind of tempted to just buy ALL new parts for the engine tomorrow and see if I can figure out why I'm getting a check engine light.

UPDATE: Found my issue. Turns out the oil filter was shot. And FYI you use the same oil filter from V8. It doesn't show up in the area for the I6 parts. But when you pick up a V8 filter it renames itself to a V8/I6 filter.
