Engine stand flew away
Hello All, I enjoiy this game, despite the bugs. (I have the MSC as well, but this game seems more fun, and a bit easier to progress.)
BUT today, I used the engine stand and moved it close to the creeper and that caused my engine stand to fly away. I searched for it, but no luck. Is it possible to get it back somehow? It does not reload if I reload the game. Thanks!

If it's fallen off the map, check beside the repair shop. The lost and found for things that fall off the map or thru the ground is there. If not then It's somewhere on the map.

Thank you for the answer! Unfortunately it did not show up next to the repair shop. (Some other stuff did)
I will need to search the forest even more. I thought there is a console command or something.

I believe he finds things you commonly carry in your truck and are prone to lose like your jerry can, buckets, and the chainsaw.

Have you checked the roof of your shop? I tried to move mine when I got the new house, and it didn't go well. The trucker flipped over and the engine stand went flying. I ended up finding it on the roof of the building. It seems like it doesn’t want to go far from the building.

Thanks for the advice! I looked, but it is not up there. Anyway, I rebuilt the v8 and the inline engine without it.

I would recommend doing it that way anyways. For me, the engine stand has always been kind of glitchy and likes to do crazy stuff when I’m trying to install parts. It’s easier to just do it on the ground most of the time.
