I haven’t had that problem yet. I’ve been expecting it since my tires have been on the truck quite a while, and the new truck is running tires I’ve had for a while. I don’t think there is any indicator though.

I had 3 blowouts within 20 min of play. Ended up changing the whole set.

I says in the game update menu that if you've had tyres for a long time they will have low durability. Wanted to know if this just means 'time' or actual use. I have spares that I've had for a long time I've never used, will they be affected?
I found the new truck but how do I get back to the house

Easiest (and cheaty way is use your phone to transport you and truck home). Otherwise, use your other truck to get the parts needed to it to fix it up. YouTube has videos I think to show you how.

this is with the Toyota on day 3 with a new save. very frustrating when you cant afford Skapegoates stollen wheels.

New game start for this update. Have $blown$ all 4 of the original tires on the Toyota. plus 5 brand new $500 tires (3 on one trip to the still). I can't afford to drive anywhere. Don't make enough money. Cheaper to teleport around, but of course you can't carry anything so can't make enough to eat. $OUCH$

Use the golf buggy to take two pieces of junk to sell. Get yourself a spare battery from the junkyard to swap out to charge. Takes a while, but at least you can earn $£$£. Tyres don't burst either.

Stick one on the seat beside you, maybe a third on the roof.

Charging a battery is free, no more endless fuel cost.

Yep, installed 4 brand new tyres, $1200 and within 3 game days two had blown. Uninstalled until this and other stuff is fixed

i´m using the tsx tires and at ingame day 5 they are still ok. Just have to be a bit careful - avoid crashing and jumping. Since the traction update you dont need $500 tires to get thru the mud. The ford has the cheapest default tires on it and with unboosted V8 and 4.x gears it is running to the still like a charm. My Yota is using the 5.x gears with a I4 Turbo engine and is also doing well on almost every kind of tire. But i´m not running pedal-to-the-metal all the time.

Does the tire gauge play any role in this?
drweird556 Jul 18, 2023 @ 6:39am
the tire gauge will show full til they blow. lol. been playing this game since the beginning but it's just getting more frustrating. almost unplayable at this point. at least before when you had issues you just cheated poker to regain your loss from whatever bug happened.

I've put both trucks into storage whilst I service them, using the golf buggy to sell scrap to pay for the parts without wasting my savings, so have only had three blowouts so far, on tires from my spares stash that have been in game for a while, they didn't last long at all, so suspect game time decides when they obliterate themselves. Previously never used.
I did discover that jacking up my new truck with the jack from the old truck might have generated a second jack in game, I now have two. Maybe the second one is from the new truck but cannot attach it in the bed, so not sure. The new truck should also be equipped with a jack and both trucks should have the ability to have a spare tyre attached somewhere, makes sense if we have such brutal tyre wear.
