How do I get past the tenant? It just says check your autosaves but I'm confused what I'm supposed to do

That's your cue to reload your save and try another expression.

it's not saying "try another expression" it just says " check the autosave". What arbitrarily chosen expression is the one that works?

You need to make an angry expression and stick with that until conversation is over then you cen go to her apartment
