The Official "Wheeliam" Thread

Let's work together to figure this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ out. Here's a few theories of my own on how to achieve it:

Theory #1:
The Wheel of Fortune is usable in the veil to change the lila film into will. There's a high likelihood that has something to do with this achievement, given it's name.

Theory #2:
In the tower ending there's a second film reel that you can obtain that gets put in your inventory, but you lose it almost immediately. Perhaps there is a way to actually take it out with you and into the veil and insert it into the camera.

Theory #3:
Rather than the wheel of fortune it could have something to do with the valves in the train station, since they look and spin kinda like wheels, and the image for the achievement kinda looks like it might be a valve.

Yeah, this games mysteries have been on my mind since release too. At one point during a discussion with Det. Yu, Lila mentions how she could potentially be many things. I recall:
1) A tulpa William called for after his mothers passing/ a fragment of Williams broken psyche
2) The vengeful spirit of Tanya
3) US government mind control something or other

I’m unsure if there was another I forgot, but I feel it’s safe to cross off #2, seeing Lila’s obvious contempt for Tanya.

Am confused myself, I just hoped to find some clues towards the wheeliam and clever one achieve myself haha.

1 and 8: I think we are Yu, or, you are Yu. I think he knows everything we do, except I suppose things external to the game, but we don't know everything he does, like what Lila whispered to him. He also doesn't seem to know about DAEMON, but he senses it's there. One interesting thing is the achievement you get when she whispers to him, I think it's - The Last Secret: The trick, most vile of them all - which reminds me of the quote, “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist”. 3. I think this means in the game, when it shows the name during dialogue, I guess the implication is when William isn't present it's Lila?

4. Chet is the guy who drew the DADA dog meme that seems to have spun out of control and become a symbol for a hategroup, outside of the artists intentions. In a twitter discussion between Garage Heathen and Tanya Kennedy, GH says the meme was created through "black magic". On the Ribkin website there's a link to a fake article you can't access saying "Chet Murie killed by supremacist group", the DADA dog is censored there but you can see the real version in the classified document. The DADA dog is listed in the classified document as if it was made by the same group that Prof/Father Lawrence and Prof. Ryibkin are in but it says it's not "L'S CHILD". Also says there's a more detailed report but where it is is redacted, whether that means it's on Ryibkin's website or somewhere else, I don't know.

5. The sycamore trees are in GH's other game, Your amazing T-Gotchi! which seems to have some references to Who's Lila? There's an odd moment in T-Gotchi where the character wanders off into what seems to be the nowhere area in Who's Lila, it even plays the same music. There's also videos on his youtube channel that show the trees.

6. I really haven't given this enough thought, there's just so many mentions of them.

7. I dunno but it spooks me.

Just gonna say, I haven't played his other game but I'm going to, I also really want to know what the OF LEGBONES thing mentioned in the classified document is. I'm sorry this is so long and disjointed, I've been thinking about the game non-stop since it released lol
Edit: GHs other game Schastye definitely mentions related things, Rihbkin is mentioned, the car you can find, mushrooms, the trees, loads of stuff.

what i find strange is that this is an achievement, most other achievements are pretty straigthforward even if it takes some figuring out, and usually when games have some sort of super elaborate secret thing there isn't an achievement for it, since most normie completionists wouldn't be able to figure it out or they'd just get frustrated and datamine it or keep asking the dev for solution, and the name "wheeliam" makes it seem like some kind of meme secret that people were meant to just stumble upon by accident, and yet i don't think anybody has figured it out yet in a game that's all about investigative skills, and we've been searching thoroughly. this just makes it even more vague than it already is, because we don't even know if we're looking at an elaborate puzzle with multiple layers to solving it, or if we're just missing something very simple and obvious and looking in all the wrong places

Hey everyone! Just read the whole thread and I'm honestly amazed at how clever and knowledgeable you all are! Here's a hint -
the savefiles are located at MyDocuments/WhosLila/Saves.
Now, I don't recommend changing anything in them, as that would lead to a savefile becoming corrupted.

I’ve been searching through those files for a while, but I’m kind of hesitant to touch or mess with stuff like files. I’ll have to take another thorough look.

all ive noticed in the saves folder is that the saves are in the wheel format .whl, maybe its just a coincidence but considering this game as a whole, maybe there's something to it

i dont know a single thing about programming, though, so i have no idea what could be done with that lol

try to be a little bit more curious and open a save file with notepad and delete anything there, something weird happened right after I did that

Make a save file corrupted by editing in, then load it. Open Daemon and go to where it tells you to. There is also something interesting on (-22,-100).
