Pre-Laid Map Request
I'm not a fan of the currently-available pre-laid maps, as they're loaded with props and made to emulate real railroads that are meant to be operated by multiple people at once (thus are VERY complicated and redundant).

Does anyone have a fully-connected map that's made with simpler routes for single-player, no props, no cheesed industry placement (if I wanted that, I'd do it myself), and no inclines steeper than 2%? It'd make me happy if it were in Lake Valley, but I'll take anything at this point.

This does not answer my request. These are the overly-complicated maps I was referring to. And I don't care if it's "overloaded" with props or not, I don't want any. Because as much as I don't like laying track, from time to time I am interested in putting in my own towns around the routes I use.
See if you like this one templar1138... It's original Pine Valley, but as I recall, I don't have much on it. I'm typically a solo player myself.

The pre-laid maps are not modeled after any railroads. The maps scale in difficulty and can be fully played as a solo player or in a group.

The purpose of a prelaid map is to fill the world for you so you do not have to lay tracks.

Pine valley- easy map no grades steeper than 3% minus a short stretch on the iron mine route

Lake valley- medium difficulty grades close to 4% in some spots.

Aurora Falls- hard steep grades and challenging routes.

Yes, but there are numerous elements that can be daunting, confusing, and frustrating to deal with if you're playing by yourself and don't have to coordinate with other moving trains. For example: Large shunting yards.

What part of this made you think I didn't understand that?

Manged to get it all tracked and largely stayed at 3% or less. Of course I wall crawl quite a bit, but largely avoided "sky routes".
