Oh well I know for future I guess. At least it's only a little portion, and I've put raised ground over it for rails since anyway, so lesson learned to be careful next time I guess. I do like using the wall groundwork for marking out roughly where the track is gonna go though hmmm.....
Not via the game at this time. The only way to communicate is by Discord or some other sommunication system. Not sure if they have plans to add it in game soon or at all.
There are different ways to establish communication: If the server is named after the nickname of the player you can try to look up the name in steam. If it isn't and your in the game hit <tab>- key and look up the hosts name. Another try with steam. If you find the player in steam you can ask for friendship and once this is done you can chat via steam. Steam voice chat then will work also.
If the player has a rather unique name this can work for any other communication software like discord or teamspeak as well. If you landed on "joe's server" and "joe" is the host, there'll be no way to find him.
Sometimes you'll find cars with informations on them. I've three cabooses standing in the starting area, where the names are giving information on how to communicate. When you land first time on the server you'll look right at it. Hard to miss when you really watch out on what's going on. If you just start to run around though...
