Parallel track plz.... updated, DEVS PLEASE READ.
building Parallel track is so annoying and time consuming. moving radius is such a pain going from 1000 left to 1000 right is just stupid.

we really need a proper set of tools with fixed radius turns for Parallel tracks or a way that track will lay next to each other if a button is clicked or option selected.

It's actually quite easy. But i don't think they should add a seperate tool for it.
Why? Because dual track lines of narrow gauges barely existed in the US. This discussion has been on here many many times

even so they may have barely existed they still did, the current tools to make the few double tracks that are sometimes needed are very poor.

It's a good thing that parallel tracks are a myth. After all, these are railways with the simplest infrastructure. Parallel tracks almost never occur on routes. They are common on standard gauge main railways.

tbh i dont see what the big deal is, its just parallel tracks, if you dont want them dont use them, its not like im asking for nuclear powered rocket trains from asgard.

i found a decent way now to do it any ways, use the scenery box 1 to use as a marker, it has lines and can be used as a ruler as such.

Have you tried using 90 degree crossings, or snapping the diverging tracks of 2 switches together (I've had decent luck being able to rip out the unneeded junction and placing non-circle mode track end to end)? Unless you're going for a different spacing, these ought to help...

Also, I don't recommend trying to do double main track, if you end up in that situation.

i use the 2 switch method to get started and use boxes to mark the way, boxes are pretty accurate i might add due to the markings on them.

decent results using boxes for this

switches or bridges to be snapped to a grade would be more useful... as at the current state they place Straight to the world grid not to any degree of slope
