Putting firewood back into the Firewood Depot
I am sure i was in prior versions able to put firewood back on the fire wood pile i took it from, now its no longer possible, was it removed or is it a bug?

You're not losing anything anyway. It'll refill if you drop a single cordwood car off there. Firewood is a minor consumable, and doesn't really cost you any money anyway.
